Rules and Regulations
- The selection of entries and allotment of awards will be at the discretion of the Vishwalalit judging committee. The judging committee’s decision may not allot any award in one or more categories if no work is considered worthy. The Judging Committee will not assign any reason for their decision. No participant will get the Scholarship or the Society’s Prize more than once.
- Artists submitting entries in the Professional category must have completed 18 years of age.
- Works sent for the competition must be original work and must not have been exhibited before in any competitive exhibition. The participant has to sign a declaration about it. The declaration in this regard is found to be incorrect or false; the committee shall be entitled to reject the entry, even at the time of or before, or during the exhibition.
- Students are required to upload a digital image of the identity card of the Art institute they are studying in.
- We make a very earnest appeal to artists to send fresh and best of their original artworks.
- The Vishwalalit Art Competition shall be entitled to reproduce any of the Exhibits in any publication.
- All sales will be effected through the Society. The amount thus collected will be paid to the artist after deducting 25% of the sale amount as commission payable to the Vishwalalit.
- Artists are requested not to sell their artworks outside during the Exhibition period. If the artwork were sold before the exhibition’s completion, the artist would not be allowed/permitted to exhibit their artworks for the next two years.
